selling This is a unique piece of vintage early 20th century rural history. It is a sturdy handmade wooden farmer's wife's basket. Made in, & used for, collecting berries in Ontario, Canada.

Use as designed for or as a storage unit for a multitude of items.

A solid piece of oval shaped wood forms the bottom. Thinner wood is formed around the base & overlapped in a pleasing 3 arrow point fashion. Metal nails secure the overlap as well as the single handle. Stained a medium brown.

Measurements- 10" long & to top of handle, 6.5" wide, 3.5" deep.

Condition- still useful & solid. Some natural wearing away of the stain, see photos for details.

There is no option for a less expensive option. For items shipped to the US & international, small packet service is used. This DOES NOT provide tracking & once sent can not be be tracked by the seller. If tracking is desired this must be stipulated when purchasing & the appropriate service will be selected & paid for by the buyer.
