Three Koi selling Wet Felted Painting

This is a one-of-a-kind original wet felted painting of three playful Koi. I use both wet and needle felting techniques to create my paintings. First I create the background. I used wool fiber, silk threads, curly locks and sparkly synthetic firestar fiber. After it dried, I used dry fiber and the needle felting process to create the Koi and details.

Lovely soft colors of brown, blue, silver and gray comprise the background. The Koi, of course, are colors of pink and orange.

This piece is hand stitched to a black, painted, stretched canvas that measures 12 x 12 overall. It is very lightweight and easily hangs from the wire on the back

This is easy to care for. Just don't hang it in direct sunlight. To clean, use selling and soft brush gently.
