This is an original woodcut cut titled 'Beaded Stream'
In the Arctic tundra, water flows across the landscape following ice wedge patterns and forming a small stream. Over time, erosion in the intersection of ice wedges form tiny ponds- called ‘beads'. These beads grow over time.
A beaded stream is the result of water connecting the tiny ponds by strictly following the existing patterns of the ice wedges across the landscape.
