Six, 1890's Satsuma Bamboo Themed Plates selling

This sale includes all six plates for price listed. These are antique, 19th century, about 1890, Late Meiji Period, hand painted porcelain Satsuma plates from Japan with bamboo theme. In the photograph of all 6 plates you can see the gold leaf highlights on some of the edges where they are reflecting sunlight coming in through the window next to where they are being photographed. Approximately (not precisely) 6" in diameter. When doing a search for these we have come across some later selling versions, but none that are pre-1900.
