Rowen B. Bear, selling R01, Original, one of a kind, Handmade, Jointed, old fashioned, Collectible, Heirloom Teddy bear

This sweet, gorgeous girl is Rowen B. Bear. She is made from a super thick soft dark brown vintage plush. Her eyes are black faceted buttons attached with many strands of extra strong thread and her nose is hand-embroidered with pearl cotton. Rowen's ears are sewn on by hand with several strands of extra-strong thread. These methods give her a unique character and personality making her one-of-a-kind. She is fully articulated with her arms, legs, and head attached with steel cotter pins and fiberboard discs just like in Teddy Roosevelt's day. Her long curved arms make it possible for her to hold a book or other item. Rowen is about 14 inches tall when standing and 9 1/2 inches when sitting. Since Rowen selling is truly one-of-a-kind, should you want to give her a home, the bear you see in the picture is the bear you will receive.

All jointed bears in the Bears and Critters shop are my original designs and made completely by me. (-: Each bear has its own tag that includes its name and unique registration number. All bears are signed and dated on their foot. The head, arms, and legs are attached with steel cotter pins and Masonite or fiberboard discs, just like the original bears made in the early 1900s. This is a strong, durable way to make bears and other critters. The ears are sewn on by hand with several strands of extra-strong thread. They are created in a smoke free environment. While my bears enjoy children, collectors,, and those young at heart, they are not recommended for babies or toddlers who might chew on their eyes.
