This very pretty box has an empty cartouche.
It has a rococo style pattern on the lid
There is ribbing around the edge too.
The lid has 2 hallmarks for lion & b 1901
The base has Anchor, b, lion, THH & co.
These marks are in a shield
This hallmark was used from 1899-1905
1901 is the date, first year of Edward VII reign.
It weighs 73.4g. Nice sturdy little box
Shallow dent on the base.
Could be used as table -top snuff box selling
