Beautifully illustrated by A. Forestier, with text by George W. T. Omond. This is one of a series known as Black's beautiful books and features 77 full page colour illustrations.

This book is in lovely condition inside and out. Bound in black cloth with a striking yellow and orange design to the front cover and spine. The boards are in good condition, very lightly soiled and with only minor scuffing to the boards, and minor bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. There is a small mark to the back cover approx 1cm across.

Internally the pages are age toned but otherwise beautifully clean and bright - it does not look like the book has been used or handled much.
