Large Abstract selling Painting (Canvas Panel)

Dragon Spiral is an abstract painting that came to resemble something akin to a sleeping dragon with broad wings. Or maybe a swirling vortex. Abstract paintings do that.

I don't have stories for all of my paintings, but this one has a bit of one. Dragon Spiral was painted during one of my darker moods. It was calming to spin the painting around and throw down selling the colors with little regard for how it would look. Turns out it looked pretty good, the black bringing out the bronze and tiny bits of peeking purple.
