Outstanding Russian naval commander Pavel Nakhimov born July 6, (23 June) in the village town Vyazemsky district of Smolensk province (now - St. Andrew's Village Nakhimov district of Smolensk region). After graduating from the Naval Cadet Corps in St. Petersburg (1818), served in the Baltic Fleet. In 1822-1825 gg. made a circumnavigation of the watch officer on the frigate "Cruiser".

Bust is made of bronze copper, height 17cm (7 inches).
