Book Condition:
•Please note that both of these books need to be handled VERY delicately.
•Both books have hardcovers made of leather and cloth. Both books show significant wear and tear due to the age of the books.
•Upon inspection, there are not pen/pencil markings on the pages of either book.
•Discoloring of the pages is evident on both books.
•Volume 49: The spine on this book has not broken. However, it is very loose and delicate. The first 10 pages have damage (as pictured above). The front hardcover looks as though it may have been slightly sprayed with a white speckled substance. This copy does have the original owner's name on the front end sheet.
•Volume 50: The spine on this book HAS detached from its pages. However, ALL pages are still glued together and intact. A few pages have minimal tearing. Hardcover has wear due to its age.
•BOTH Books are showing signs of foxing.
•These books ARE readable. However, I FULLY recommend handling with extremely delicate care!

These books are absolutely beautiful and would be perfect for a collector, or someone who wishes to have two gorgeous leather books from the early 1900's on their decorative bookshelves.
