Platinum is extremely durable. It's shiny and beautiful, but it's also a metal that will last for generations. Possibly natures most brilliant and durable precious metal, Platinum is used by the world's premier pen manufacturers to plate their very finest pens. Platinum has a soft white hue. It's 30 times rarer than gold (which means it's more expensive), 40% heavier than 14K gold and platinum will not tarnish or oxidize, however it ages beautifully by developing a lustrous patina. The Rhodium and Platinum plating on my pens will last a lifetime.

Encased in acrylic are real 3D Circuit Board components. The components you see in the pen are real; unlike some that are just printed images. This makes a very special and unusual pen. The acrylic material has been turned and polished to a high shine that is extremely beautiful and durable.
