The piece is marked Sterling silver, made in Denmark, and signed by the maker, Niels Erik From.

The piece dates from the 1940's.

The brooch is made of Sterling silver set with a green Chrysoprase cabochon.

The brooch is in excellent vintage condition with only very light age related wear.
