This is a completed Janlynn Counted selling Cross Stitch Kit from what I can find.
"His Love is the Light of the World" is stitched inside the wreath where candles sit nestled in the bottom.
I love the gold metallic thread accents in the candle flames! If you have a space that you decorate for the seasons, this would be perfect.
It is signed M and dated '97 in bottom right.
This has a Christmas flair, but is not overtly a holiday piece, I believe.
The frame is all gold and compliments the subject. I'm not sure if the frame is slightly rubbed on the raised areas, or if it was made this way. the amount of "rubbing" is consistent all the way around.
Glass covers the work. There is cardboard over the back, nailed in place.
