Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoon Set of 6 by David Anderson
This is a beautiful set of Norwegian sterling silver in his signature guilloche enamel selling and yellow gold over sterling spoons by David-Andersen. This collection includes six spoons with enamel inlays of yellow. I think they were once finished with a gold plate but the gold has mostly worn off over the years. BUT they are still classic and beautiful. Each piece is stamped with David-Andersen hallmarks along with “Norway – Sterling”.
Mid century modern, hand crafted and hand enameled. Wear consistent with age and use. Faint scratches on spoons. No loss to enamel but one spoon shown in the pictures seems to have some scratches in the enamel. They have not been polished to death by me and will have some tarnish on them. I did wipe them good.
Used for stirring after dinner drinks such as espresso, coffee or tea.
