A stunning piece of antique Chinese wood carved panel which was once belonging to an antique Chinese furniture.
The theme of this panel was called Qilin Song Zi “ Qilin bring the kids to the family”.
A boy riding a Qilin is an auspicious motif used on wedding paraphernalia in the hope it's auguring the birth of a good child. In China, a Qilin Song Zi print traditionally was pasted on the door of the Nuptial Chamber or on the wall near the bed.
