These tapestries were found at an estate sale in Iowa. They are each approximately 12" wide by 43" long. They are vintage color samples from a company called Concepts International, each "stripe" is a different color of wool fabric that they sold. The result, rather than just a color sample, is a wonderful art piece. There is a rolled piece at the top that is the finished edge. I believe you could thread a small dowel or rope through the center of that to hang them. (Like the size of a long knitting needle) The colors on one are predominately warm but they have small bits of cool colors like grey, black and white that tone them down, resulting in a beautiful pop of color that is not overwhelming selling, but rather give off a relaxing vibe. The other is a cooler color palette like blues, greys, purples but again, the warm colors appear in pieces throughout to modify the overall look. A really cool pair.
