Cute Vintage Beatrix Potter Jemima Puddle-Duck My Favorite Things Music Box For Baby Mirror F Warne selling & Co New York London Schmid Music

Here is a cute little music box featuring Jemima Puddle-Duck. She is from the Beatrix Potter story books, and here she goes round and round with the song "My Favorite Things". She may get a bit dizzy, but she gets her bearings by gazing into the little round mirror at the back of the music box lid. The front and back of the box tell the story of what Mrs Puddle-Duck is doing on this fine spring morning. The two sides show her as she waddles down the path and over the bridge. Very cute. This is all done in the pastel colors. Mrs Puddle-Duck, on the other hand, is dressed in a darker blue bonnet (or poke bonnet as she calls it), and a darker pink decorated scarf. Her beak is a bright yellow, too. Well ... after all, she is the center of attention! All of the markings are clear on the bottom. The crank is not original.
