fine, delicate filigree workmanship as fine as thread in leaf openwork
either a handcrafted Cannetille brooch or Cordobesa handywork from Spain. both were delicate lacey filigree techniques with sterling that are long past.

2.25 in. x 2.25 in. x .5 in. deep
needs additional cleaning. it was black when i received it. although delicate, there was no difficulty in cleaning. i just lay it in the only solution i had left for cleaning and let it lift off the patina.
back pin has been slightly bent in the past but very sturdy and structurally sound. simple hook closure
