Selling Scala

This picture is the product of selling a completed shoot, with studio time left, and a model who had become a friend. We fed off of each others creative energy, and she was always ready to try anything I had an inkling to experiment with - like this old ladder that was tucked away in the corner of the studio space. I got so many beautiful images in those 15 minutes of leftover studio time. This image was the one that took the longest to accomplish (due to the very precise shadow placement on her pelvic region) and it turned out to be the all around favorite of the shoot. It is named "Scala" meaning "ladder" in Italian.
Each print is made to order, and produced by me using professional industry standards on archival matte fine art paper.
