The author of the collage is a talented Ukrainian collage artist Anna Gridasova. She was born in Ukraine, in the city of Makeevka, Donetsk region. After the beginning of the war in 2014, she left everything and went to Kyiv. Since that moment she has not been at home and her native city. Anna Gridasova is the winner of a lot of competitions in Ukraine. Anna represented the new and the last and the shortest exhibition in her life on the February 22nd,2022. The war came again to her home only in 2 days.
Anna moved to Berlin. She is still working with collages. The work "The war as it is" was created in Berlin in April 2022. All the materials are from Ukraine.
