English antique, Blakeney selling ironstone cheese dish / dome / safe / keep, cobalt blue flow, circa late 19th century. This is a delightful cobalt blue ironstone cheese dish with lid. It has clear stamps on the base for Victoria ironstone, Staffordshire. The pattern is a pretty rose design all the more lovely for the glorious cobalt blue colour used. There are holes in the top to keep the cheese aired. The cheese dish is in very good condition. There is lots of age related crazing but otherwise it has been well looked after over its long life. A lovely cheese dish, ready to use, and very decorative when not in use.
