Dendritic Sharp Native Silver on Calcite Matrix
Bouismas Mine, Bou Azzer mining district, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco


This specimen displays dendritic native silver crystals which branch out across the calcite matrix as horizontal veins. The native silver is thick with sharp clusters of crystallized points of metallic silver. Some crystals measure up to 11 mm in length which are quite rare selling and difficult to develop growth in nature. The calcite is a milky white which makes the silver pop out and adds to the aesthetics.
