Black sheer long silk scarf painted with red , purple and gold flowers .
I painted it on chiffon silk ( lightweight transparent mat silk ) . It definitely is the lightest and most ethereal and feminine silk .

It asks a lot of care during painting process . Transparent silk charm lies on overlapping . Colors look very light due to its transparency but they gain intensity once the silk is wrapped around the body .
Also , the background color is important in order to obtain the most beautiful overall effect .
Just perfect on a black dress !

The floral drawing is made free hand with metallic gold gutta used as resist . I love to use gold gutta on transparent silk as it looks like embroidery with gold thread .

Dyes : colorfast high quality French dyes .

Size : 16 x 71 inches ( 44 x 180 cm )

Care : Wash gently in lukewarm water with mild detergent . Do not soak for a long time and iron gently at low temperature when the silk is slightly wet .

This scarf comes into a hand made wrap closed with a satin ribbon . I paint my signature on it .

Custom order available : please, show me your favourite colors and you will receive a painting made just for you . I do not use patterns so it is impossible to paint two identical scarfs but this is not the purpose !
