This is an antique enameled .800 silver european snuff box/compact that has a lid which is decorated with a colorful scene of two lovers of a risque neo classical nature. There is engraving that has been inlaid with enamel and it is also engraved on all sides and the bottom. selling There is damage on top that i have take a picture of but also may have been original to the piece when it was made because it really doesnt look like a chip. There is also a light scratch from age. Strong hinge and click closing lid. Measures approx. 2" x 1 3/8" x 3/8".
