Hollywood Patterns 883, a Sewing Pattern for 1940s Women's Dress

FITS SIZE: Bust 34, Hip 37 inches

This is an selling Original 1940s pattern, complete with instructions in original paper envelope.

PATTERN DETAILS:
One Piece dress is fitted at the waistline. The bias front bodice drapes to form a V-neck with or without a bow. Sleeves can be bracelet length just below the elbow, or short with gathers. Skirt is flared, 10-gored. Includes pattern for a buckle style belt.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS:
Printed silk, silk crepe, faille, taffeta, satin, heavy sheer, dress wool, wool crepe, novelty cotton, shantung, cotton voile.

PATTERN SIZE INCLUDED:
Envelope says Size 16 but in 2022 it's about a Misses 12.

This is an Original 1940s paper dress pattern, tissues are unprinted but you can tell them apart. Pattern is complete with instructions in English and materials list in original paper envelope. Tissues are delicate, I recommend that you work from a tracing or at least use pattern weights instead of pins. Pieces are identified by perforated letters and notches as marked on instruction sheet. Tissues need repair and I will do that when I press them. Envelope is tattered on edges and has some short tears.
