Elegant Lladro Figurine “Angel With Child” No.4635 In Great Condition (OTH10557)
Porcelain Lladro Figurine c. 1970
This beautiful porcelain figurine is in great condition. This original figurine is in the traditional Lladro color palette with beautiful details typical of the style. A Young Angel is wrapping a sleeping baby in a light blue blanket. On the bottom of the figure, you will see the Lladro Bell Flower Logo. This piece is number 4635, and it is in a gloss finish. This would be a wonderful addition to any collection or make a great statement piece in a china cabinet!

Condition: Good condition for its age. There are two cracks one on the finger of the Lladro and the neck. Otherwise, this piece has no chips or crazing and is in great condition.

About Lladro:
The Lladro Company was founded in 1953 by three brothers: Jan, Jose and Vicente Lladro. In the beginning, they produced mostly vases and jugs until 1956 when they began selling producing the sculptures and figurines that they are still known for today. Lladro is well known in the ceramic community for its attention to detail and use of clay materials. In the 1970s earthy colors, natural themes, and new materials were introduced. Traditionally their figures come in a matte or clear glaze finish. However, Lladro continues to produce sculptures that involve complex surface designs. Lladro figurines have become a motif in pop culture particularly in tv shows and movies and LLadro sculptures value continues to go up. The Lladro company remains at the helm of famous pottery manufacturers and are still in production today.
