Our silversmiths live in a Kathmandu mountain valley about 100 miles from Mount Everest and have been working with silver for several generations using traditional methods and tools. Every piece of jewelry is made from scratch, beginning with ingots of fine silver.
Gemstones are not readily available to them so we select and send them to their workshop where they make the jewelry around the cut stone. Nothing is mass produced, each piece is custom made to fit a particular stone and no two are alike. We are very fortunate to be able to share this family's work with you.
This selling is a rose carved piece of amethyst quartz in a fine silver setting. An 18" sterling silver chain is included. The stone is very unique and is 6.55 total ct. Please take a look at the photos and let me know if you have any questions.
