RARE OOAK 1991 RIP Per Yngve “Pelle” Ohlin aka Dead Memorial T-shirt selling Mayhem Norwegian Black Metal Swedish Black Metal Thrash Goth Mens S

I think as regard Swedish Black Metal icon Dead, if you know, you know.

… BUT for those who don't know, he was the iconic lead singer for the notorious Norwegian Black Metal band Mayhem, just prior to his early death.

His death still reverberates through the metal community and he's become metal-canonised. A selling piece of his skull sold for $3500 in 2018, etc.

This RARE OOAK T-shirt was purchased stateside from a gig vendor in 1991, *right* after Dead passed.

It's a unique underground RIP shirt. Never seen another like it since, online or IRL.

The shirt is massively faded from age & use and is now a super soft, medium gunmetal grey (!) color.

The faded front graphic is a horizontal rectangle featuring Dead in corpse paint.

He faces the viewer straight on with an intense look. This portrait is originally Dead's brick wall pic.

His image is superimposed on a background of grey funeral mourning flowers.

There's a catfish and other strange objects (?) in the lower right.

The back is solid.

The neck is a flattering relaxed crew aka high scoop.

The shirt is perfectly punk metal distressed. It's overall very faded from age & use. There's ghostly stains on the front (fold lines? bleach stains?). There's a teeny tiny hole on the back top. All visible in pix.

In great vintage condition.

As a distressed metal / punk shirt it's in excellent condition. Perfectly imperfect.

100% Cotton.

Label size Men's Small.
