Green Dyed Ginkgo Burl Bowl with salad bowl finish.

One-of-a-kind piece handmade in my shop in Southwest Washington. This piece features outstanding rich ginkgo burl grain on the outside, with teal green dyed interior giving this ginkgo burl wood with superb detail and feel. The rich ginkgo burl wood produces gorgeous colors in the grain (see photos),it is truly a stunning piece! This bowl has a natural wavy design that shows on the inside as well as the outside of the bowl adding a beautiful detail to the bowl. This turned ginkgo burl bowl presents a beautiful balance of colors, grain patterns, and dimensions. The piece is finished with salad bowl Finish.

This bowl is made from one solid piece of wood that is dried and hand turned on a lathe. This process takes time to complete with the drying between steps so the bowl doesn't split and will give you a bowl that will be passed on to future generations. This is a fairly deep bowl which feels sturdy yet it is not too heavy! It has a salad bowl finish. The finish on this piece is superb; you selling will be impressed!
