selling This is an end grain cutting board made in a plaid pattern. It uses walnut, cherry, maple and paduak hardwoods. The board is made to the size requested when purchased and it will be 1.25" thick. All dimensions have a +/- 0.25 inch tolerance. It is finished with a homemade blend of food grade mineral oil and carnauba wax. The board will come with a 4oz tin of the wax blend to keep the board looking fresh over time.
This item is made to order. Please allow extra time for the cutting board to be made along with standard shipping times.
Using the cutting board wax: When your board is starting to look dried out, apply a layer of the cutting board wax with a cloth towel or paper towel. Once the board is fully covered, let it sit overnight and then the next day you can wipe off the excess with a fresh paper towel or cloth towel.
