Selling Antique Quaker Woman's Night Cap

selling 19thC Woman's Night Cap - from the Johnson family of Germantown, PA

Here is yet another night cap from the load of early textiles from this family.

Fashioned out of a cotton dimity with twill tape ties and finely hand-sewn, it is in excellent condition.

Measures 8 3/4 inches deep and 8 inches long.

I should say that I believe most of these that I have listed appear to be for a smaller head, possibly a young woman or girl.

Great item to use as part of a bed-time Christmas display, or as a historical textile document from an early Quaker family.
