Conductor selling with Blue Hat, Venice Santa Lucia Station

The islands of Venice are automobile-free, but trains transport passengers across the lagoon to Venice's picturesque Santa Lucia train station on the Grand Canal selling. Santa Lucia station, built throughout the 1940s and 1950s, required the demolition of its namesake, the Church of Santa Lucia. This station is a popular tourist destination, receiving over 82,000 visitors daily.
