selling Hummel Goebel 'Angel Cloud' Holy Water Font (HUM206)

Holy Water fonts have been popular Christening Day gifts to godchildren and grandchildren since the 1800s and continue to be popular up to the present time. This holy water font features an angel planting flowers in billowing clouds.

This holy water font is crafted in porcelain and hand painted with careful attention to details. It measures about 4 1/2" tall x 3" wide and marked on the back with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature (her personal stamp of approval). It is also marked 'Copr. W. Goebel' and stamped with TMK-2 Full Bee trademark. Made in Germany circa 1949-1950.

The font is unused and in pristine condition. Receptacle is clean and there are no chips, no cracks, no paint flakes and no scratches. Weight before packaging is 4 oz. Sans original box. Will ship boxed via USPS First Class Package.
