selling Original Oil Painting on Canvas created in the modern art tradition of the Fauves.
The size is 11" by 14" by 3/4" on stretched canvas. This painting can hang without a frame.
The inspiration of this painting is the heartland of America. The Fauve painters in the modern art era were called "wild beasts" because of their use of brilliant color over the representational depiction of a scene. Drawn to color combinations, I have been experimenting with color in landscapes on smaller sizes.
