A beautiful handcrafted solid bronze egret bird box from Japan,the paper tag is still attached on the bottom,measures 2 7/8 inches wide, 1 1 /2 selling inches deep and 17/8 inches tall.very good condition,rather heavy for its size,can be used to store small trinklets or just coffee table decorative arts.
Dont know how it is used in Japan,may be small incenses?or could be a brush rest?scroll weight?paperweight
