Gustavsberg Hjärter by selling Karin Björquist & Stig Lindberg on SAL model, Rare Swedish mid century designer teacup and saucer, Nordic Home

Oh my gosh, I'm so lucky to have found these cups. There are some really rare cups on the SAL model, and this is one of them. Stig Lindberg and Margareta Hennix produced many designs on the SA line, but although Karin worked at the same time as them both, she mainly worked on other ceramics projects.

According to my research she produced three cups on the SA line; this one, Jordgubbe (strawberry, also on the SAL) and Körsbär (cherry, on the SA-1). Körsbär is rare (and expensive!) but this one is rarer still, as is the strawberry. In fact I've only seen them come up occasionally for sale at auction houses... until recently! It's difficult to put a price on it. There is a tiny bit of wear on the pattern, but no chips or cracks. I've selling managed to obtain 2 with the original saucer and 3 with a plain white saucer.
