Product code: Stolzenfels Castle (German: Schloss selling Stolzenfels) Etching signed

For your consideration we have this wonderful Stolzenfels Castle (German: Schloss Stolzenfels) Etching signed.

Castle name in bottom left corner and artist on the bottom right. Both selling are signed in pencil. Framed in a nice vintage silver tone frame. Sticker on the back if fromN. Shelleburg picture Dept. Phila., PA. Looks very old. Guessing this could date back to the 19th century.

Frame is approx. 7 1/2" x 10". Actual etching is 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". I have not opened the glass to clean. There are some small black particles floating around. Likely from backing.

Here is a bit of information I found on the web about the Castle.

Stolzenfels Castle (German: Schloss Stolzenfels) is a former, medieval fortress castle ("Burg") turned into a palace, near Koblenz on the left bank of the Rhine, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Stolzenfels was a ruined 13th-century castle, gifted to the Prussian Crownprince, Frederick William in 1823. He had it rebuilt as a 19th-century palace in Gothic Revival style. Today, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
