Old Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Sculpture Elephant And Cobra Ashtray Wood Carving Ceylon Sri Lanka selling

Offered here is an old hand carved piece from Ceylon featuring an elephant and a cobra wrapped around a tree.

It is in vintage condition with obvious wear and losses from age and use, there is a seperation where the snake is carved from a second piece of wood, and there is a hole for a peg where a top section of the tree would go but it is not present - see photos.

Overall it measures about 10" high, about 10" wide, and about 7" deep. The attached elephant figure measures about 4.25" high, about 5" long, and about 2.5" wide.
