Red Christmas tree skirt with dogs and snowflakes diecut from faux fur and felt, securely machine stitched with matching threads.
This larger-sized tree skirt consists of a red cotton fabric, layered with batting to give the skirt body, with a white-on-white cotton print fabric for the underside. The edge of the skirt has been piped with 8/32" cotton cording, covered with more white-on-white fabric as a contrasting accent. This provides a slightly stiff edge to hold the skirt's shape. Tabs hide velcro closures.
Red fabrics have a notorious reputation for leaving stains on carpeting. This tree skirt is fully lined with white fabric to protect carpeting underneath; no red fabric will come in direct contact with your floor, so don't worry about stains. The red selling fabric was also pre-washed twice as an extra precaution.
The thick faux fur minky used for each dog has been heat fused with a permanent bond to the skirt. Small buffalo check gingham ribbon mufflers have been sewn onto each dog. The felt snowflakes are machine stitched and have additional echo stitching around each.
If wrinkles occur, steam press the BACK of the skirt, or use a pressing cloth over the felt and fur pieces.
