The Noblewoman mask - the joy of Venetian Carnival selling / venetian original handmade mask with silver leaf

This cozy model, elegant and refined but bearing also the spirit of the licentious and libertine spirit of Carnival, is selling the perfect final touch to an elegant dress or party costume, highlighting the grace and gaze of the countenance of the person wearing it.

This handmade mask, produced by us in our workshop - the oldest in town - in the Frari discrict of Venice, Italy, is decorated with acrylics, relief colors and silver leaf, an antique technique widely used in the most ancient Italian palazzos and opera-houses, which takes at least two days to complete. It has been made by Gualtiero, the master of the shop since more than 40 years.
