selling This book was originally made for a Camino de Santiago Pilgrim's, to remember all the adventures in his travel. It was a good parter after hard day of walking. A necessary moment to write, so you can't forget the Way.
Made in a beautiful greenish blue with a Camino Shell hand engraved on the front and with a Compass Rose on the back, this OOAK piece remember the color of the Sea in the North. With some distressed and vintage finish to seem a historical piece.

You also could have your own words engraved on the cover, by hand: letter by letter, the title of your own book.

MADE TO ORDER in B6 size (13 x 18 cm) 5" x 7". Time to be ready to ship: 2 weeks. (Please, read my policies about shipping time frame)

2. When your book is finished, I will email you with some final pictures. I will ship after your answer.

-- Fabriano Rusticus Ivory Paper (200 sheets-400 sides)
Very good quality ivory colour unlined 100 g paper, which has the look and feel of handmade paper. With handtorn edges. It has FSC warranty and Acid Free. You can write or draw on ink and it hasn't bleed with the different inks (tested for different customers).


-- Fabriano Tiziano Paper, 160 gsm (100 sheets-200 sides), more versatile for sketchbooks and necessary if you use wet techniques. Cream or Ivory.



+ + PLEASE, NOTE:

-- This is a custom order, the journal is made for you! (main photographs are examples of custom orders).

-- The personalization on the cover and the first page is included. It is free of additional charges. You don't need to purchase anything else in my shop.

-- I can engrave your text in any language, but only with the roman alphabet as you can see in the samples.

-- The engravings are not simply "written" or stamping with a machine: they are truly made by hand, blind tooled with original bookbinding brass types, letter by letter, and you can touch the relief on the cover.

-- As they are premade bookbinding types, to engrave the main text I only use the style of capitals that you can see on the examples. To print a name, a date, or a singular word I also could use another size to make it harmonious.

-- I'll engrave your text on the cover as near as possible you send me, but long lines will be made on two lines if there is not enough space. I usually choose the place on the cover (front or back) depending the length of the text, unless otherwise specified.
The first page text would be edited to fit also.

-- I usually send two reminder messages after the first with the final pictures, but if finally I have no response I'll send the item to the Etsy address provided.

-- I'll be happy to follow your preferences if you have something in mind (thread color, lighter or darker finishing, design arrangement...)
