"Impossible Garden" is a mixed media piece that took me months to pull together. Though the design is simple, the execution was not.
The photos are a little misleading. The background is a shade or two darker than goldenrod, not the weird, reddish-brown in the photos. The composition was sealed with a brown ink wash selling to add depth and age it a little.
The painting measures approximately 6.5" (16.5cm) x 11.25" (28.6cm). The hanging hardware comes installed, as shown in the photos. The wood was a found piece that was just BEGGING to be painted on.
