Friend of Bees 11.25 by selling 14 Mini Quilt

This textile collage mini quilt shows a curvy nearly nude person with the head of a pink eyed bee. Honeycombs, patches of bee fabric, and patches of mustard, floral, and pink fabric are stitched around the figure with running stitch. Quilting creates a raised texture on the selling piece.

The entire piece is hand stitched and hand quilted, creating a three dimensional texture. The border and backing of the quilt are purple batik with a leaf pattern.

A dowel is inserted into hanging pockets on the back. The dowel can also be removed to allow for framing.
