Hand crafted and painted mini barn quilt collection. I use milk paint on solid pine wood. Borrowing a trick from old time sign painters, I carved these designs into the wood and then used a multi-step aging process to create the appearance of time-worn heirlooms. I created these pieces to complement one another when hanging together as a collection. They may also be displayed individually to give a nice touch of nostalgia to any space.
Please Note: These pieces are finished with dark antiquing wax, and are intended for display indoors or in a covered outdoor space.
The three barn quilts pictured in this listing each measure 11.5" x 11.5" and include hardware for hanging on a wall.
Every barn quilt that I create is an individual piece of art, and slight variations in color and aging appearance add to their unique charm.
Colors used in these pieces include: Redstone, Beachglass, Barn Red and Cheesecake.
