These are hand-forged by the oldest female Blacksmith Artist in America. Cassandra Taylor is now 67 years old and started Blacksmithing in the late 1970s to make gear for primitive camping. She was involved with a historical re-enactment group and also attended Rendezvous where she sold many of her handmade items. She now makes her blacksmith art in the historic Mississippi River town of Kimmswick Missouri.
