This fabulous large ironstone platter is the perfect piece to add to your farmhouse table! Lovely condition, with lots of yummy crazing and staining. Beautiful pattern of floral sprays around the rim in cobalt blue, and in the center is floral garland surrounding a floral spray in the same cobalt blue. The scalloped edge is trimmed in gold with some worn off. There is a small chip on the rim and a chip on the underside of rim, which is understandable considering the age of the piece. Platter is marked on the back W C Co. semi porcelain. Please see all photos for condition. This is a heavy sturdy piece with a nice rim to catch all the juices or sauce!
