An impressive mixed metal Yemeni bangle from the Yemen worn on the upper arm. Hollow, but substantial, this Bedouin bracelet displays the hallmarks of ethnic jewelry from Yemen: decoration with roping and applique discs in alternating smooth and textured pattern.
It has a few depressions, some old repairs and a hole from wear on its selling inside, but remains defiant of time and quite beautiful and in good condition for its age. A tiny pebble trapped inside rattles softly.
