This is a beautifully crafted antique snuff or compact box made of Persian silver. It has a wonderful hunting scene hand painted on mother of pearl. The interior mirror is in fantastic shape given the age.
The box is 2.75” in selling diameter and 1” tall including the lid. The lid is in very good antique condition with no major losses of paint. There is a patch to even out the mother of pearl that was done at the time of creation and is not a later repair.
