selling 2022 February Flower series - Day 21 Prompt is “water”

Sister Friends: “Floating with the girls” 6x6 acrylic on wood

I love the water, I mean all of it. Rivers, lakes, oceans, even the cold ones. So I wanted my flowers (or Lilly pads) for this prompt to be ON the water and not in it. Like floating in the pool with your friends.

For February flowers this year, I wanted to make a cohesive collection, something I haven't really one in the past. My intent was to take pictures of friends and family, and recreate them as flowers. On my instagram (@dlynnart), you can see some of these pictures. I had a very heart filled month thinking about my friends and my family while I made these paintings.
