This Christmas table runner was made from modern Christmas fabrics in mostly traditional Christmas colors in a simple linear design. The back is red which shows off the machine quilting and brings this runner from just used at Christmas to all season usage. Need a gift? The fabrics used were 100% selling cotton. The batting used was a fusible fleece specifically selected for the nice loft and delineation the machine quilting is given.

The three rectangles in the center of the table runner are made from Christmas colored starbursts in greens and white on a red background. These rectangles are framed by a green solid strip. Another narrow strip of white was then added. The outer border is a red background fabric filled with small green and white polka dots. The binding repeats the Christmas starburst fabric around the edging which has been securely attached by machine.
The backing is a red textured looking fabric. The machine quilting done by me was done in a linear style to replicate the linear modern feel of the table runner. Red thread was used in the machine quilting. This runner was created in a pet free and smoke free environment.

If the table runner needs to be laundered place in washer on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent and one or two Shout Color Catchers. The color catchers will absorb any loose dyes that may remain in the fabrics causing the colors to run. Do NOT use bleach! Either line dry or machine dry on a low to medium heat setting. It will come out all soft and crinkly. I call it the quilty look!
